This client, a seasoned enthusiast of durable shoes, discovered our workshop via YouTube . After an initial chat on our website, a real conversation ensued: choice of materials, sewing style, heel, pads, logo… every detail was considered together. He wasn't just looking for a shoe repair service—he wanted a work of art from a specialized workshop .
The steps of high-end customization
In this first part, we began the complete deconstruction of the boot:
- Removal of the original modular sole and midsole
- Cleaning the internal cavity (wall, cork, welt)
- Explanation of the Goodyear 360° construction , with lockstitch stitching
- Added a new leather welt and started the double stitching, entirely hand-pierced
Every gesture, every seam, every bevel has been designed to enhance the durability and authenticity of the boot .
