Autumn is one of our best seasons in the workshop. The leather is working, the boots are returning from the field, and each pair tells its own story. Here's a glimpse of some restorations that have stood out for us in recent weeks.

🔩 Red Wing 8084 — Rejuvenate without betraying character

These Red Wing 8084 work boots arrived worn from years of service, but the leather was still in superb condition. We performed a complete resoling with Vibram soles , a deep cleaning of the leather , and then a hand-applied re-dye to restore the original color.
👉 Result: a pair ready to go for another ten years, without losing any of its personality.

🥾 Blundstone — Conversion to Goodyear welt

A classic from our workshop! These molded-soled Blundstone boots had lost their comfort and grip. We converted them to a stitched construction with a Vibram 1136 sole , making the boot not only repairable but even more durable than the original.
💡 An excellent example of a circular economy: repair rather than replace.

🧽 Autumn maintenance — Prepare your boots for winter

Many of our customers take advantage of autumn to condition their leather boots and have protective soles fitted before the snow arrives. It's the best time to extend the life of your Red Wing, Alden, or Paraboot boots.
